Welcome to Gator Country

For over 55 years the Lakeland Gators have been a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the youth of Lakeland a place to enjoy the sport of football and cheerleading.

The goal and focus of the Lakeland Gators is to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for youth athletes to learn, have fun, build character and compete at a prominent level in the sports of football and cheer.

Each year the Gators provide services to over 200 children ages 4-14. The Lakeland Gators are currently a part of the Tri-County Youth Football and Cheerleading Conference. Each team consists of 30-35 players and 50-75 cheerleaders of various ages.

Head coaches are elected positions.
Make sure you have submitted a coach's application and background check for consideration.

ALL coaches must complete required forms prior to being considered a staff member.

There are several ways to demonstrate support to our program.
Through a sponsorship of youth athletics, you are not only helping support and provide service to your surrounding community but businesses who actively support community youth programs are more likely to be viewed in a positive manner by the entire community.
